Bei Xian’ growing base for green grains cereals are located on the alluvial plain formed at the junction of Songhua River, Nen River and the Second Songhua River, which is also the site of Qianguo Irrigation District renowned in Northeast China. The farmland is newly cultivated from primitive dark sandy wasteland with sufficient sunshine and proper ground temperature, and the whole procedure is operated strictly according to the national standards on green food.
